The CEMS Career Forum is a CEMS Community-exclusive event taking place in ESADE Business School, Barcelona, from 8 - 9 November. CEMS Corporate Partners will offer many activities and interact with you through skill seminars, CV Coaching sessions, Corporate Coffee Talks, Interviews and the traditional exhibition stands.
It will be a unique chance for you to discover many career opportunities offered by our CEMS Corporate Partners. Meet and interact with leading global companies, learn more about opportunities for internships and permanent employment, and broaden your network by participating in the CEMS Career Forum 2024.

Career Training Workshops
The Career Forum 2024 offers the possibility to attend a two-hour workshop imparted by ESADE Careers. The aim of these workshops is to improve your abilities in a job interview in order to start or boost your career and strengthen your soft skills.
Accredited Skill Seminar
The accredited skill seminars (0.25 ECTS) are a unique opportunity to develop your talent. This is a one-off chance to acquire knowledge from the Corporate Partners and exchange it with fellow students in a truly global setting. Each skill seminar will be available for 10-25 CEMS students and will be held at ESADE Business School on November 8.
When registering (10 - 25 September), you are advised to indicate up to 6 preferences in order to increase your chances of getting a skill seminar. Remember that all skill seminars take place simultaneously, so you can only participate in one.
Individual CV Coaching
Online over the course of October
Online CV coaching are individual workshops for students to get guidance from recruiters about how to make the ideal CV. Get tips from professionals about how to improve your CV and enhance your chances to get selected for an interview during the Career Forum, on November 9.
During this 15-minute individual chat, you will receive personalized feedback on your CV from a CEMS Corporate Partner. Spots with corporate representatives will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Interviews
The CEMS Career Forum offers students and young alumni (0-4 years after graduation) the opportunity to make up to 10 requests for interviews with corporate representatives attending the event.
- The interviews are 30, 45 or 60-minute long, based upon the preferences of the Corporate Partners. It can be a pre-screening interview, mock interview or formal interview with a representative in a dedicated interview room at ESADE.
It is a unique opportunity to make a first career move, exchange and get direct feedback and career tips from professionals in many industries. You can find a list of CEMS Corporate Partners offering Interviews in the brochure. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and is subject to change.
Corporate Coffee Talks
Optimize your chance to network with one of our Corporate Partners, and exchange with the company of your choice during a Corporate Coffee Talk.
During this one hour session, you will get the chance to understand more about one company’s culture, open opportunities and many other topics with a small group of students, in a casual setting. This will be the perfect chance to network with corporate representatives and recruiters. You can apply to only one Corporate Coffee Talk and registration are on a first-come first-served basis, though your Student Space in the Career Forum website.
Exhibition Stand
During the job fair on November 9, you can visit the information stands of each participating CPs and talk to the company representatives. Employers can answer questions and discuss roles at their companies, talk about their company culture and various other topics.
The job fair will be running from 10am to 5pm and is a great opportunity to learn from a CEMS alum, get more information about a graduate programme, internship offers, or new hires opportunities.
Career Forum Party
After experiencing the Career Forum, it is time to let loose and celebrate! This year, CEMS Club Barcelona proudly presents the highly anticipated afterparty held at The Duvet Club, Barcelona. This event offers a perfect opportunity to share first impressions, broaden your network within the CEMS Alliance, and build lifelong relationships with fellow students, alumni, corporate representatives, and academic members.
Immerse yourself in an electrifying atmosphere that embraces the true spirit of CEMS and promises an unforgettable experience. This night is not just a wrap-up of the Career Forum, but also a gateway to endless connections that will resonate long after the event. CEMS Startup Challenge
The CEMS STARTUP CHALLENGE is back!
Whether you are working on a business idea or you are already running a startup, you definitely want to apply to the CEMS Startup Challenge 2024 - the biggest entrepreneurial event in the CEMS year - that will be held on the 9th of November at the CEMS Career Forum at ESADE.
Besides the amazing pitching competition, the program will include coaching and networking with experienced entrepreneurs and investors, and pitching credited with 0.50 ECTS.
